This is a 30”x 24” original, palette knife oil painting on canvas. This was based on sketches and photos my trip to the cote d’azur region of France. Grasse, specifically. We have great friends in the area that toured us around for the day. I found the pink umbrellas strung through town iresistible. I wanted to capture the beautiful color, and the great textures of the old buildings. The painting is on 1 3/4” support and the edges are painted.
